Hey babe, I'm
Hey it's me Amy, the Bayfield Blondist. As a busy mom of 3 it was so natural for me to gravitate my career towards helping busy people with lived-in, low maintenance colour. I get it, the days are busy between work, school, daycare and soccer. No one has time to be at the salon every 4-6 weeks for 3-6 hours at a time just to get their roots done. That's a lot.
I have dedicated my career to providing my clients with time saving colouring techniques that look natural and seamless. Time is the one thing we can never get back, and that is why I value it so much.
I believe self-care is not a want, its neccessary in our lives to reduce overwhelm. It's my mission as your stylist to provide you with a comfortable relaxing experience, that leaves you feeling rejuvinated.

Being apart of your self-care routine gives me great honour. As someone with ADHD it has taken me a long time to understand the importance self-care and its worth.
My salon Wave + Bar Hair Boutqiue creates a grounding experience in itself. Warm wooden textures creates the feeling of home, an abundance of plants and greenery calms and grounds you, and the bright white walls illuminate the natural light, uplifting your mood instantly. It's honestly my safe space, and I know you will feel it too.
Come hang out with me, enjoy my plants, and lets make some beautiful lived-in hair together.

Well hello, I'm
After achieving a degree from Trent University, I realized my passion was in hairstyling and I attended Marvel school of Cosmetolgy in Kitchener. The big city was calling though and I left Kitchener and apprenticed at Taz Salon in Yorkville, Toronto. I learned about editorial work, participated in photo shoots and fashion shows and learned from an Award winning team. From there I moved to Dublin Ireland where my Gram was from and absorbed the Irish trends for two
years. Upon returning to Canada I worked for Salon Daniel, then H&Co both in the Soho neighbourhood of Toronto. I worked Canada and Toronto fashion week as well as working for a Male Modelling Agency. So I'm well versed in not only women's hair but men's also. I then returned to Ireland and went on to become runner up in the Keune Colour Explosion category in 2021. I love all aspects of hairdressing! The most recent thing I've learned in the last two years is Extensions and I always try to keep educating myself! I'm obsessed with making women feel their best and sexiest! Apart from hairstyling I love getting out for hikes, doing pilates and am a Reiki Practioner! My sisters are my best friends and we spend as much time together as possible! I'm thrilled to have relocated up in Huron County as I fell in love with the area when my parents retired here!
